So, it's already been a month. We shall finish this game prototype. Yes, indeed we made the prototype but not in the way I wanted it to be. We started making progress just in the last few days - and thankfully because we have a Fall Break.
It was really really far from being a nice prototype. Yes, our character is successfully loaded into the game. And yes, we had made the collision but it wasn't a nice collision at all. In fact, we just restricted the movement of the character in the specific x,y coordinate. Of course there is a way to break our restriction! This is the result of one month works??? I was really really upset by this. In the last few days before we presented our prototype to the customer, I had just learnt a new way of collision detection: using triangle ray. I was really upset and mad at the same time of my teammate who responsible on the collision. The triangle ray tutorial was available in the internet! If only he had started it much earlier. And if only I didn't rely on him so much.
The evaluation notes
I hope I have a better team for the next project. Well, at least through this project I learnt one thing: DON'T RELY TOO MUCH ON YOUR unproductive TEAMMATE!
