Lately I keep thinking when this game is done, I don't want to play it. It is not fun at all! It shouldn't be like that, right? If the game developer is not interested in it, who will play it?? Thus I proposed to my team to change the scenario a little bit. So this is our new scenario: the astronaut must fight the alien/zombie to get into the thermodynamic-platform-puzzle. When he did better than he will face less enemies in the next level otherwise, he will faces more enemies. Our producer like the idea so does ouradviser. We added the play element to this homework-wrapped-game and the objective to complete the thermodynamic puzzle: to get less monster!!
Now with the scenario changed, I feel much better with the game but not with the game development process itself. I felt I am the only one doing the engineer job here. My partner did almost no coding even during class. He went somewhere after the stand-up meeting and playing game!! Well, I had told the producer and he had pushed my partner. Frankly, I am prepared to do all the coding myself.
