Looking back at the Cheesy Bee's production

Today we presented our first game prototype to Kate, the customer. It was really interesting to see her reaction when she played our game. She even spoken out her emotion. "Oh, I missed it." "Come on! Come on! I want to get it!" Her reaction was what we wanted. She even played it three time!!! I am glad that she likes it.

Final game trailer

Get the sound and executable working

After struggling for quite a while, I finally got the sound working on our Cheesy Bee game!!! Saurabh told me yesterday how he got the sound works on his game. It is really not as hard as it seems. It's easy!

First version of Cheesy Bee is completed!

Yeah! Finally the first version of the Cheesy Bee is completed!

Jake and Jason did an awesome job on the game core and Alice created cute images for our game. Me? Today I made some changes on my UI flow and added the game core into the UI to make it even more complete as a game application.

First game: Cheesy Bee

Producer: A.J (Anthony Dimmick)
Artist: Alice Owens
Engineers: Jason Thummel, Jake Muehle, and me ^__^

This is the first game I made since I jumped in game industry. The objective we had for this game is to help promote a cheese company. This company has a bee as their logo and thus this is the idea we had: A queen bee was bored of making honey. Thus she got her worker bees making cheese! That's cool and cute for a beginning. What uncool is that we have use MOAI, the language none of the engineers ever used.
