Deciding the team to join

I liked the freedom we had for this thesis project. I did not mind working in a project I were not really interested to. Nevertheless, I knew there are people who did not want to work in a project they don’t like. I also liked the fact that those who did not contribute in a team would be removed from the team and couldn’t join in any team. This would force those who were passive in the previous semester to be more active. Well, I hope.

There were a lot of games that interested me: Footsteps, Cellblock, Vinyl and Fus-Fus. All of them were great game with strong concept. Sadly, A.B. didn't seem want to make the game happened. So there were only three teams left for me to choose.

It was quiet a big challenge for me to decide which I would join but finally I were in Vinyl group. There were some considerations I chose this group: first, of course, I liked the game concept. Second, I liked all the people in the group. Last semester I worked three times in a row with a programmer who didn’t contribute at all to the team and it wasn’t a good team work. Lastly, because I wanted to make this game happen! All the other games I liked already have enough people (except Footsteps whose designer didn’t seem want to make it happen).

So, so far we had 2 producers in Vinyl team: Brianne Christiansen and Michael Heiberger (Mike), Jason Kanagaratnam (Jason K), and Jason Thummel (iJason). I had ever worked with Brianne, Mike, and iJason before. This would be my first time working together with Jason K. I believe this will be a really nice team. I couldn't wait working together with them to make this game happen in the next one and half year (I really do hope this game will be picked).
