Listening to Molyjam 2012 by Anna Kipnis

It is really interesting how social media (Twitter, Facebook) support the game jam and made it into international game jam. Internet is absolutely one thing you cannot miss to market your game.

This is just my short note on the talk that I don't want to forget.

Game jam tips:
- A good theme takes the pressure off
- Venue with enough power, internet, places to sit, and water for the duration of the jam
- Get temporary licenses for game engines
- Show and tell party
- Open the entire process to the public!

Why did Molyjam help games?
- Working on something that excites you removes writer's block
- Inspiring to be around talented, passionate people
- Game press and fans witnessed the process
- New people = more diversity!

What if you walk along and everything that you see is more than what you see - the person in the T-shirt and slacks is a warrior, the space that appears empty is a secret door to an alternate world? Shigeru Miyamoto
