Summer break... Vinyl time...

Today is the official start of summer break which also means the official start date of new Vinyl prototype! Last week half of the Vinyl engineers - iJason, Cody and me - started a new sprint for Vinyl. We rebuild Vinyl from scratch!

During my busy time finishing up my assignment, I worked with iJason and Cody to create the Vinyl's track with the spline data Cody created. Now the track is circular like a Vinyl supposed to. I had also linked it with pure data. Today, I finally created the low pass filter, high pass filter, and bass pass filter using pure data. I had also successfully linked it to the track that we had last week and change the cut-off frequency using Unity.

Pure data, unexpectedly, is not as easy as I thought. It is not as hard as one would expect too. The language is really simple. It is basically just virtual programming language. The barrier is just the understanding of audio. This is what I need to work on this summer while keep working on creating the audio filter for Vinyl.

Btw, today Tadas contacted us again. He said he is free now to meet up with us and showed the audio remixing he mentioned to us previously. Nice!

I couldn't wait to see this new Vinyl.
